happy mothers' day

Happy Mothers' Day! This was my first Mother's Day and Josh made it so special for me. It's amazing being a mother and I am so grateful for the wonderful mothers in my life- my own mother and my mother-in-law. They are wonderful grandmothers to Aiden.
We spent Mothers' Day dinner at our friends house and had a hotpot dinner. Josh and I had never had a dinner like this before and it was so much fun. It is a Chinese way to eat where you put all sorts of veggies, meat, potstickers, mushrooms in a broth that is boiled. It is cooked at the table and in a few minutes it's done and then you just pick the items you want out with your chopsticks and eat it with sauce. It was really tasty!

Today Aiden discovered he has feet! All day long he had his feet in his face, staring at them. He would wiggle his toes and just stare- it was truly fascinating to him. He is learning so quick! When I fed him a bottle today he grabbed at his bottle and he held it the entire time. He is also getting stronger. He is almost able to hold his weight when placed on his feet.
Well, better go... Aiden is fussy:-)
